Transmissions matched by code, not by guesswork.

The most common reason a replacement transmission doesn't work is that it was correct for the model and wrong for the vehicle. We match on transmission code and VIN before anything ships.

What we supply

Automatic

Complete assemblies from 4-speed units through modern 8- and 10-speed boxes, including torque converter where it was pulled with the unit.

Manual

Gearboxes for cars, light trucks and performance applications. Clutch components are supplied separately and are worth replacing during the same job.

CVT

Continuously variable units for the imports that use them heavily. These are code-sensitive, so a VIN match matters more here than anywhere else.

Transfer cases

For 4x4 and AWD drivetrains, matched to your vehicle's drive configuration and gear ratio.

Differentials and axles

Front and rear assemblies, matched on ratio — the wrong ratio will drive, but it will not drive correctly for long.

Matched drivetrain sets

Engine and transmission pulled from the same donor vehicle. Usually cheaper than ordering the two units separately.

Why the transmission code matters

Manufacturers fit several transmission variants to the same model in the same year, and the differences are not visible from the outside. A unit with the wrong bellhousing pattern, gear ratio or valve body calibration will physically install and then behave badly — harsh shifts, wrong shift points, or a check engine light that never clears.

The code is stamped on the transmission housing or listed on the vehicle's build sticker, often in the door jamb. If you can't find it, give us the VIN and we'll decode it for you.

Installation should include new fluid, a new filter, and a flushed cooler line. A cooler still holding debris from a failed transmission is the fastest way to kill a good replacement.

Common questions

Does the price include the torque converter?

Often yes, when the converter was pulled with the unit — but not always. Ask on the call and we'll confirm it in writing on your quote before you pay.

Can I install it myself?

The warranty requires installation by a licensed repair facility, and the shop invoice is what supports any future claim. Self-installed units are not covered.

My shop says the transmission is fine and it's the valve body. Should I still replace the whole unit?

Ask your shop to price both routes. If the case, gears and clutches are sound, a targeted repair can be the better economics. We'd rather tell you that than sell you an assembly you didn't need.

How long does delivery take?

Most units land in three to seven business days after the order is confirmed. Freight to a commercial address with a dock or forklift is usually the quickest.
